ABOUT INGA
Inga, also known as ingxbire, is an interdisciplinary artist with a passion for music, writing, curation, and spirituality.
She is a first-generation Rwandan, raised in a small town in southwest Michigan. Her unique cultural background has greatly influenced her art and spiritual practices.

Growing up my mommy would always emphasize izina ryawe, your name. She made it clear the importance of honoring the names you come from. In almost all her lectures, she’d say things like “You’re the granddaughter of Pastor Madandi and Pastor Ruhaya! You have to remember the names you're carrying!"
